this week's Wall Street Journal clean energy update

I enjoyed the high visibility of the November 28th Wall Street Journal’s front page article on the impact of ethanol on water supplies and food prices "Ethanol Craze Cools As Doubts Multiply". Even more pleased when a friend called to say that those key points were in line with my article published last month in FEI

My article "How Will You Cope in a Clean-Energy World?," which was published by Financial Executive magazine in the November issue www.financialexecutives.org, presents seven critical issues that companies need to come to terms with in their efforts to compete in a clean energy world. They are:

1. The Rising Cost of Ethanol Production May Affect Your Bottom Line.

2. Clean-Energy Subsidies Are Creating Both Opportunities and Challenges

3. Clean-Energy Projects May "Crowd Out" Your Financing Needs

4. Bulk Shippers’ "Clean-Energy" Customers Could Derail Your Business

5. A Carbon-Effect Economy Is Taking Hold

6. The Consequences of Rising Electricity Costs

7. Clean Energy Is Preempting Consumption of Water Resources
