US Is No Longer AAA Credit: What Are You Hiding By Putting A Spin On Reality?
Despite what the Obama administration says, the US downgrade from AAA came because S&P got real. S&P asked for a 4 trillion dollar reduction and got a bogus 2.4 trillion. Read the Barron link below.
When a business reduces their budget, the amount spent is reduced from the current year. The political definition of a reduction is not a reduction from the CURRENT year. They call it a reduction of what they were planning to spend in the future. “The reduction for fiscal year 2012 is about 21 billion dollars.” It is a rounding error when compared to 10% of 2.4 trillion or 240 billion dollars, or even worse from the 400 billion reductions the ratings agency was looking for.

Even worse than shading the truth, the politically correct version of blatant misstatements for political reasons to mislead your followers, employees etc, is the fact that being unwilling to face up to the truth taints your ability to recognize the real problem to solve. Consider that your followers take their marching orders to solve the wrong problem and wonder why things get worse rather than better.
- Where are you shading the truth in your life or business to postpone dealing with the real situation?
- How much worse are you letting the problem get as time marches on and you move closer to your version of a million dollar blind spot?
- How could you turn this risk into an opportunity by solving the real issue which your competitors are probably choosing to ignore?
